The Fiber Electronics Research Center of Fudan University is an interdisciplinary research platform with members from Department of Macromolecular Science and Laboratory of Advanced Materials. The center includes 1 professor, 3 associate professors, 1 associate researcher, 2 engineers, and 1 administrative staff. The members of the center are awarded various talent programs including Distinguished Professor of “Cheungkong Scholars Program” of the Ministry of Education, the National Distinguished Youth Science Fund of the Natural Science Fund of China, Professor of Special Appointment (Eastern Scholar) at Shanghai Institutions of Higher Learning, Shanghai Young top-notch talent and Shanghai Rising-Star.
Research interests at the center include materials and devices for energy conversion, materials and devices for energy storage, electro-catalysis in new energy resources, and flexible bioelectronics. To date, more than 250 papers have been published at top journals including Nat. Nanotech., Nat. Photon., Nat. Biomed. Eng., Nat. Chem., Nat. Protoc., Nat. Rev. Mater., Adv. Mater., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., J. Am. Chem. Soc. and Phys. Rev. Lett. The studies have been highlighted 2 times by Science, 5 times by Nature, and 10 times by other Nature series journals. The center has undertaken key projects such as National Program on Key Basic Research Project (973 Program), National Key Research and Development Project, Key Program of the National Natural Science Foundation, Shanghai Key Basic Research Project and National Defense Foundation.
